Flu shots

The manual process

Each patient would fill out a paper form with their personal health information. The pharmacist would then need to interpret that handwritten data and input it into the company’s PIS before administering the shot.

The digital solution

The pharmacy chain deployed an intuitive digital journey using Daylight’s platform that allows patients to prescreen and register at home from their device of choice. Once the patient arrives at the pharmacy, they simply provide their confirmation code to receive their shot. The patient’s information is automatically populated into the pharmacy’s PIS upon registration.

COVID-19 testing

The success of working together on the other processes provided the pharmacy chain with the peace of mind that Daylight could rapidly deploy a low-contact COVID-19 testing solution.

The digital solution

Using the Daylight platform, the pharmacy chain was able to rapidly deploy a nationwide COVID-19 testing program, including a solution for Ontario secondary schools and one of the world’s top 20 international airlines.
